Hello from UK - recently purchased a 2001 Voxan VB1

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a 2001 Voxan VB1 here in England. It needs some recommissioning. The fuel tank (plastic) has a slight leak and there is an electrical issue. But it does run!

I understand these are very rare bikes - particularly in the UK. I’m hoping to get mine all sorted and up and running. I’ve heard MotoVox are a good source of spare parts - although with so few made I suspect anything too particular maybe impossible to find.

It doesn’t currently have the Evo engine kit fitted but it did come with one of these. I also gather that there was no specific manual produced - but the models all share broadly the same engine. I did get some magazine articles and the original sales brochure with the bike.

Yes, with only 32 VB1 manufactured, it is one of the rarest models of the brand, not only in UK.
You could find a lot of technical documentation (but in french, sorry) in the web site of the VCF https://www.voxanclubdefrance.com/technique/
If you have a Evo kit in your spare parts, don't forget to change the springs of tensioners of distribution chain (only in the VCF shop)
And there are several VB1 owners on this forum. I'm sure they can help you.

Some impossible-to-find parts(Evo kit parts, elastomer parts) are available on club's store, for members only .
