With a heavy heart I decided to sell my Voxan Roadster last week. The diagnosis was a failed big end bearing on the front cylinder. I couldn't justify the cost of a full engine rebuild and had to consider the future for spare parts with the factory closed.

Still at least the bike has gone back to the land of its birth and I know it has gone to a good home.

I shall miss it, but after a 2 hour road test I have purchased a 2009 model Aprilia Shiver 750. Doesn't rev as freely as the Voxan, but it goes well enough for an old guy.

Are any of you going to the Isle of Man Mountain Circuit centenary next year?

We could understand that for you it could be even worse than for us in France for getting spare parts
However, you bought another V2 which is a good engine

Sad to read that, but we all respect your choice. You have unserstandable reasons, and anyway you are free to have your own choices. A bike must meet its rider's needs, which was not the case anymore as far as we can read from read (especially due to cost reasons). Enjoy your new bike ;)
