Recent events that have taken place within the Voxan world need explanation. Due to a lack of resources, the factory has been put into receivership. In France, during this period, an administrative delegate surveys and verifies all if the company’s expenses. After four months, this person determines the profitability of the company as well as its future. The company remains in the recovery phase if it is profitable. If not, it goes into the compulsory liquidation phase where it is possible to buy up the company. If it is not bought up, the possessions of the company are sold in bid and that is the end.
Voxan is in compulsory liquidation and there are two possible buyers:
- The SODEMO which is a company that specializes in the development of engines. This company created the first Voxan engine. It possesses worthy technical capacity but lacks finances and has a
partial relocation at Magny Cours.
- The FIL which is a finance company in Luxembourg, with sound financial capacity, no relocation, and an important project involving the construction of offices.
The bids will be finalized before the Courts on the 19th of January and we will then know what the immediate future holds for Voxan.
The VCF (Voxan Club France) is awaiting the decision and is remaining neutral so as not to influence those deciding. We are following this case very closely and will keep you informed as soon as possible.
Thanx for the explanation! Is there some new information yet? Because it's the 27th already...
