I'm taking my 2000 Roadster on a trailer to Patrick at Point de Corde in Limoges next week. From the description I gave of the nasty noises and a photo of the bronze coloured flakes in the sump mesh filter he thinks the crankshaft main and/or big end bearings have failed.

He can't be sure of getting the parts while I am over in France and I'm not sure I want to spend any more money on this bike. I think I may offer it to him as spares or repairs.

So I'll be taking the british registration document and the original documents from when he sold it to me in 2004. It was originally one of Voxan's own bikes registered in France by them in 2000.

Anyone interested in buying it? I might put it on leboncoin or Ebay.fr while I am in the country.
