Cafe Racer goes Magic!

On a chair working on the cockpit wiring. I want to finish cockpit/headlight.

The whole headlight unit is also powdercoated matt black. Going to be nice.....







Put the H4 unit in.

Cleaned up the brake's front and rear, and give them new pads.

Finished the wiring, and mounted cocpit and headlight. I like it





Then I mounted the glass.





And the counter cable.

nice work again ! Only gamncing at alI those wires makes me sick so I admire you... Can't wait but seeing your bike on the road ! I if can, just one word about the other bike i've seen on the picture : you should trade your Giant bike against a Lapierre or a Vitus, this will fit perfectly with your french motorbike
PS : don't you worry, nobody is perfect, my wife drives a German car

The giant is not much of a hobby for me

I am ok! now 4 weeks from sergery and going well recovering. Hope to finish the bike in may so I can go to Welschensteinach in june at the german Voxan meeting.

Now busy with the airbox. I am going to fit a RSV K&N filter in a home made frame on top of the original airbox. First stage is ready.
Next stage is closing it up with aluminium. Pictures of stage 2 coming next week.

Put the new filter in the frame, and cut it off.



Up coming week I will finish the airbox with aluminium.

Yes you got it! Problem is that my free account is full cause of my big forum pictures hobby. Should be more voxriders doing that

Little dirty job with the black seal, but everything is closed up well.

I did concider that, but the this job cost me a lot allready.
First thing when it's done, I will test the bike at www.startwin.nl
Then we will see if a powercommander is necessary

I hope the adjustment is pretty good, because of the open filter and exhaust.

Right now I am repairing some of the miserable Voxan fairing.
I fixate it with aluminium, so it can be tightened beter.

what really helped against cracks and fissures at the holes in the fairing is a set of spacers like Sport Connection offered. I just widened the holes so that the spacers would fit in. Works fine.

Back then I thought I wouldn't need the spacers in the lid of the backseat of my CR. The result: Each of the three screw holes is cracked.

Hi Frank, yes I know. I have to wait and see how it's going to hold up.
I just want to finish it now. If it turns out to be a problem, then I will refit next winter.

about the first of june there will be pictures of the finished bike.
till that time it's not worth to be mensioned the progress.
